About me

I grew up in Katy, Texas, and am currently a rising senior at UT Austin. I went to Cinco Ranch high school, then TAMS in Denton for my junior and senior years. I mostly played piano during high school, but no longer play since I’m lazy. As for majoring in CS, I like computers and used to like video games until recently, so I wanted to work in a field I’m interested in.

This class

I’m in this class since it was the only one I haven’t taken before that seemed like a real computer science class this summer, as the other ones were SWE and ethics classes.

C++

I know a bit of C++, took the 1 hour course and did some programming in other electives with it.

Pick of the week

For people looking to use a back end database which is simpler to work with than SQL and alternatives, and also updates very quickly, Google Firebase’s real-time database is a very nice tool. I’ve been using it on a personal project this summer, and have been having a great time with it.
